Malcom & Kathy Kite

Malcolm and Cathy Kyte

Malcolm joined the church as a student and after working as a community worker, went full time in 1985. He planted and led Oasis Church, Colliers Wood from 1990 to 1991 and King's Church Kingston from 1994 to 1995. He was appointed Senior Pastor in 1997. Malcolm trained at Spurgeon's College and recently completed a Masters Degree in Applied Theology with Regents Theological College.
 
Cathy leads the children's work and also trains children's workers in other churches. She has written two books 'Leading a Child to Christ' and '100 Fun Ways to Teach the Bible'. Before becoming a mother, she was a professional teacher. Malcolm and Cathy have three children: Ben, Andrew and Joanna. 

 

 

 

David and Amanda Featherstone

David has been a full time pastor since September 2003 having had a successful career as a social worker and homes inspector. He trained with the Newfrontiers Leadership Training programme and is married to Amanda, who is a nurse in a local medical practice, and is involved in leading worship at QRC. They have three boys: Daniel, Luke and Thomas.

Peter and Gill Troup

After a career in banking and finance, Peter joined the church staff team in 1996. He is a full-time elder overseeing worship, as well as the various activities taking place in our building, our finances and our office staff. Gill works in communications with a disability charity, and is involved with a welcome team and Alpha. They have a daughter, Susie, and a Labrador called Jasper!

Tom and Anna Lawton

Tom oversees our evangelistic strategy and co-ordinates our Alpha courses, which run throughout the year.  Both Tom and Anna are also involved in marriage initiatives and other areas of church life. They have six children, ten grandchildren and one great-grandson (so far!)

Pete & Steph Wood

 

Pete and Steph Wood

Pete is married to Steph and has been an elder since January 2007. He became a Christian through the QRC youth work which he now oversees. He also supervises our trainees. Pete gained a degree in music and as an accomplished musician has an important role as one of our worship leaders. He also preaches regularly. Steph heads up our Welcome team and sings in one of the worship bands. They have one son named Caleb.
