About Us: Our Values

The five values that determine all that we do at QRC:

Worship

Our desire is to worship God wholeheartedly in our everyday life. We expect to see the gifts and fruit of the Holy Spirit among us. Prayer and knowing the Bible are at the heart of our worship.

Serving

We want to serve the practical, emotional and spiritual needs in the community selflessly and without prejudice. We give ourselves, our time and our money to serving others. We work with other churches and organisations when possible.

Evangelism

Our passion is to see many believe in Jesus, be baptised and join the church.
We believe that vibrant small groups are an effective means of evangelism.
We support local evangelism and international mission in prayer, finance and friendship.

 "Go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them..." Matt 28:19-20

Friendship

Our relationships demonstrate Christ's work in our lives.
We want to be a welcoming church, drawing each other towards Jesus.
Small groups are vital for developing friendships

 "Devote ourselves to the apostles' teaching and our life together as a church." Acts 2:42

Discipleship

Our aim is to encourage each other to become mature and full of Christ.
We seek to live by the authority of the Bible.
We recognise the role of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers to equip the church.
 
QRC is a member of the Evangelical Alliance, and we would seek to operate by the Basis of Faith that they have written.
