Changed Lives: Lyn's Story

Keiran invited the sick to be prayed for and with that my neck made a loud click!

My husband Greg and I have recently relocated to the UK from South Africa.  Naturally we gravitated to Wimbledon as many of us South Africans do and have been warmly welcomed into Queens Road Church.
 
On Sunday morning, 13th May, Greg and I were particularly excited to come and hear Kieran Dunne preach the Gospel.  I never thought I would walk out of the doors that morning physically changed from when I walked in!  Bu God never ceases to amaze me...
 

At the end of meeting, Keiran invited the sick to be prayed for and with that my neck made a loud click which just reminded me of my problem. I had a curved spine, best described as a "S" shape.  It wasn't noticeable if you looked at me but if you looked at my back closely it was clearly noticeable.  In 1996 I suffered with encephalitis which affects your neck, this only compounded my back problems. I constantly suffered with back and neck ache, together with headaches, at least once a month I would see a chiropractor who would twist me to try and bring some relief.
 
After I felt and heard the click in my neck I felt compelled to go up for prayer and I just knew that the Lord was going to touch me. Kieran and one of the leaders, Amanda, came to pray. They laid hands on my back and while they were praying I felt one gentle but firm click in my mid back, then a few moments later another two gentle clicks exactly where my curve was. I then ran my fingers down my spine and it was completely straight, like a ruler! Two medical students came up and had a look at my back and they confirmed that my spine was perfectly straight!
 
It feels like I have had a spine transplant!  When I feel my spine it doesn't even feel like its part of me. My back and neck are completely pain free, something I haven't experienced in a LONG time. Praise God!
