Sunday morning services at Queens Road Church are an opportunity to meet with God, to meet with God's people, and to be inspired and equipped to live out God's mission.
Tea and coffee are served from 9am & 11am, and the services start at 9:30 & 11:30.
Each service begins a with a time of singing worship songs, with plenty of space for people to bring prayers and contributions of their own. This is followed by a message from a passage in the Bible, which aims to inform, provoke thought, answer questions and help people to hear God speaking to them. We don't have 'guest services' as such, because every single week the message is both relevant to unbelievers and challenging to mature Christians. The service ends with another time of worship in which we help people to respond to what God has said to them. Many people stay afterwards for a leisurely coffee together.
If you have children, we have a fantastic kids' programme which takes place during both morning services. If you like, we'll look after your children for you so that you can enjoy what is happening in the service. Your children will learn lessons from one of the stories in the Bible, and will ask you to bring them back for more fun the following week! Click here for more details.
We believe that our calling is "Loving Jesus and Living his Mission", and this underpins our Sunday services together. You can find free parking on the roads around the church, or can use the council-run long-stay car park right next door. Click here for a map and directions.
