DL Moody claimed that "Every great movement can be traced back to a kneeling figure." We are trying to play our part in God's great movement in London, so we need to pray. A lot. We have different opportunities to pray, both in large and small groups...

Pray For This City

Our regular monthly prayer meeting is called "Pray for this City". London is a city full of glorious potential yet often dire reality. We are committed as a church to bringing our city before the Lord in prayer as God commands in Jeremiah 29:7 - "Seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you ... pray to the Lord on its behalf." 

We gather on the first Sunday of every month at 5:45pm for coffee and cake, then from 6:30pm to 8:00pm we worship and hear news from London, the UK and overseas which stirs us to pray.

Prayer Clinic (Tuesdays 2:20pm-5pm)

Every Tuesday afternoon during term-time, we run the Prayer Clinic. If you have a prayer request, a team of pray-ers will pray for you for 20 minutes. The request and the prayers are kept confidential, and you will be given a written report of all the prayers which were offered and all the Bible verses which the team feel prompted to give you in reply from the Lord. Over the years, the Prayer Clinic has seen a great many answers to prayer.

Prayer Drop-In (Wednesdays 1-2pm)

As well as the Prayer Clinic, we have a Wednesday lunchtime Prayer Drop-In. The focus here is more on praying for Queens Road Church and for London, the UK and the nations in general. You can drop in for as little or as much of the time as you are able. Email prayer@qrc.org.uk to let the team know that you are coming.

Sunday Pre-Service Prayer Meetings

Before our Sunday Services each week, a team gather to pray for that Service. The prayer meeting is open to all who wish to come along and pray for God to do amazing things in and through us each week, and is held in the Upper Room.

Before the 9:30am Sunday Service, the Prayer Meeting is from 9:00-9:30am

Before the 11:30am Sunday Service, the Prayer Meeting is from 11:00am-11:30am
